Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Four-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander. Adding four-pole trailer wiring harness to any vehicle with a hitch is always a good idea because even if you aren't planning on towing a trailer, it's nice to have the ability to. So if you're just getting a small utility trailer or maybe you pick up some jet skis, whatever it may be, you're gonna want this to keep you safe and legal. This is gonna plug into four-pole trailer wiring harness on the trailer, and that's gonna give you your running lights, your turn signals, and brake lights. And as far as installation goes, this is a super easy one to do. It is truly plug and play, there's no drilling required. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt trailer wiring harness here on our 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. So, a trailer wiring harness is gonna be one of the several things you need in order to tow a trailer here with your Eclipse Cross. The first being the trailer hitch. And we're obviously gonna need the wiring harness. The wiring harness is basically gonna transfer the signals from the vehicle to the trailer, so we can let other motorists out on the road know what signals we're gonna be making. A lot of the times, some of our camping trailers actually block the taillight circuits on the vehicle here, so we still need a way to transmit those signals, so we can arrive to our destination safe and sound. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness. So what's great about this is the fact that whenever you're not using your wiring, it's going to be stored inside of your Outlander, out of sight and out of the element. So it'll really stay protected. Whenever you are ready to use it, though, just grab it out of your storage compartment, and drape it over the threshold. Anywhere along the threshold is fine, you just want to do your best to avoid the latch area here, because if you get hung up in there, it could potentially get damaged. more

Today, I have a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander, and I want to walk you through how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with four-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Hang this on your vehicle, it's going to give you a lot of different options to get lighting functions to either a trailer, maybe you have a cargo carrier. To get lighting functions back to them, so you're not only safe, but you're legal. Everybody around you knows what you're doing.This wiring harness is designed to live inside of the vehicle, so when we're not using it, we simply can roll it up, put it in a compartment in the back here, and it stays out of the weather and it's ready to go for the next time. When we're ready to use it, you simply pull it out, and you want to make sure it's laying over top of this rubber piece, staying away from anywhere where the hatch attaches down there, or locks in place.This wiring harness is going to give us 2.1 amps per trigger for our stop and turn signals, and 5.6 amps per trigger for our tail lights. more

Over here, we're going to have the Curt, it's going to provide you with a four-pole flat trailer connector. And then over here, we're going to have the Tekonsha wiring kit, which is also going to give you a four-pole flat trailer connector.Now, both of these are going to be made specifically for your Mitsubishi Mirage, and they're going to install very similarly, but our Curt and Tekonsha are going to have a few benefits and downsides from one another, so let's take a closer look and look at those.So, the biggest difference really between our Curt and our Tekonsha, is that our Tekonsha is going to be a little bit more involved when it comes to the installation, and that's mainly because our converter box here is going to be a powered converter box. It means we are going to have to run a wire from the back here, connect the wire using a butt connector and run it up to the battery.Now, the benefit of that is, is that the box is not going to be pulling too much on our taillight circuits. It's going to be power directly from the battery, but again, it is a little bit more work to get it installed.Whereas with the Curt, we don't have a power wire. more

Rob: Hey everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness on a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage. Now our Curt harness is going to provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector so we have all the required lights to get down the road safely with the trailer. Like our taillights, our turn signals and our brake lights. Now what I really like about this wiring, not only are they going to give you a dust cover to protect the connector, keep all that dirt debris and anything out, but it's going to be on the inside of the vehicle until we're ready to use it. You can see you have it dropped out the back of the hatch so we can use the wiring or whenever we want to store it and we're not using it, we can simply store it inside by our spare tire.Now I know a lot of customers don't like the idea that purely because the wires sitting on the back here and you're closing the hatch. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor- Video
Today in our 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor, we're gonna be installing Curt's T-connector vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector. This four pole vehicle wiring harness is gonna provide you with all the necessary lighting you need for your trailer. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, so you'll be D.O.T compliant in all states.What's nice about this is that it has its own control unit. The control box that comes with it will isolate your trailer wiring from your vehicle wiring. That way if you have any faults on your wiring it won't affect the wiring on your vehicle.On the end here you'll also receive a dust cap so when you're not using your connector you can place it on. This will keep out any dirt and debris, insuring a long lasting connection. more

That's gonna be part number 118277. So here's what our wiring is gonna look like once we have it installed. It is gonna provide us with a 4-pole flat trailer connector, and give us all the signals we need to get safely down the road, like our turn signals, tail lights, and stop lights. Now our wiring is designed to stay on the inside of the vehicle until we're ready to use it. Then once we do, we can drop it out the rear hatch. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor- Video
Today on our 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor we'll be installing the Tow Ready custom-fit vehicle wiring, part number 118516. Now to begin our installation we'll open the rear cargo door, remove the cargo area floor exposing the spare tire. We'll then remove the two strap-down hooks here on the left side, which will allow us to remove the driver side cargo floor. This will expose our trailer wiring. Now you'll see here that the wire harness is neatly tucked into the inner fender well here. We'll remove it where we can take our new t-one connector and plug it in. With it plugged in we'll remove the adhesive backing off of our t-one box and stick it to the floor pan. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Mitsubishi Montero- Video
Today, we're working on a 2004 Mitsubishi-Montero. We'll be installing a Tow Ready T-One connector product number 118380. First, we're going to open the rear car door then we're going to take the Phillips screwdriver and remove the tail light lenses. There are two fasteners on each side. We'll remove both the driver and passenger tail light lenses. You can see we can now access the wiring behind the tail light. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander- Video
Alright today, on this Mitsubishi Outlander, we are going to install part number 118518 from Tow Ready. First thing we need to do is open the back hatch and get access to the jack storage compartment. Let us remove the door to the compartment, and we will also have to remove this pocket right here. It will just pop out. So we will take the white end of our Tow Ready harness and plug it into that. Next, we are going to work with our ground wire. We will attach it to the sheet metal right here. Now we have got to install the modular for the wire harness that will plug into the gray connector that is on the Tow Ready harness. Snap it in place. It has got an adhesive back. We will go ahead and attach it to the sheet metal behind. It is safe and out of the way. 0:54 more
